I received this in an e-mail today. Beats all the emails for business insurance , online schooling and reduced mortgage rates that cram my inbox. Thanks, Joan for reminding of this. I've seen it before but it came back just in time. In case you didn't know, My buds at Tribal Blogs have started #poosday, also referred to as #fecesfriday. We're supposed to tack down any posts having to do with, or mentioning poop and post it to Twitter. Thanks to Joan I have something to tweet.
To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine...
And those who don't and are always seen with a bottle of water in their hand.
As Ben Franklin said:
In wine there is wisdom,
In beer there is freedom,
In water there is bacteria.
In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink
1 litre of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than
1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) - bacteria found in feces.
In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.
However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer
(or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol
goes through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
So remember:
Water = Poop.
Wine = Health.
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid than to drink water and be full of shit.
There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:
I'm doing it as a public service!

This is great - love it. I'll have write it down for our next wine get together.
Cheers!
Love this! My hubby is a wine drinker so I'm going to show it to him. I haven't quite found the type of wine for me. Any suggestions? Maybe in my next adventure, we'll try a wine tasting.

Received this e-mail from a friend today. Kept as new for a later post, but you beat me to it. Maybe I'll save for a few months down the road.
Reminds me of our trip to China, where we were advised to drink alcohol with meals to kill bacteria. Whatever works, right?
